Privacy Policy
Short version: nothing you type into the generator ever leaves your browser.
Last updated: 2026-09-07
The dates and times you enter
Every calculation the generator performs — converting your picked date and time into a Unix timestamp, building the Discord code, rendering the preview — happens entirely in your browser using JavaScript's built-in Date object. None of it is sent to a server. You can verify this yourself: open your browser's developer tools, watch the Network panel, and use the tool — you'll see no requests fire.
Analytics and tracking
This site uses Google Analytics (Google tag / GA4) to understand aggregate traffic — things like which pages get visited and roughly how many people use the tool. It does this by loading a script from Google and sending it basic visit information (page URL, browser/device type, approximate location derived from IP address, and how you arrived at the site). This is separate from, and has no access to, the dates and times you enter into the generator itself — see the previous section for why that stays local to your browser regardless of analytics.
Google Analytics is operated by Google and governed by Google's own privacy policy. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking across all websites using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, or block it with most ad-blocking or tracker-blocking browser extensions.
Local storage
This site stores exactly one piece of data in your browser's localStorage: a key named theme, holding either "light" or "dark", so your color-scheme choice persists between visits. This value never leaves your device and is never transmitted anywhere.
Cookies
This site's own code does not set any cookies. Google Analytics sets its own first-party cookies (typically named _ga and _ga_*) to distinguish visitors and sessions — these are controlled by Google's script, not by anything this site's code does directly, and are covered by the Google Analytics section above.
Server and hosting logs
Like effectively any website, requests to this site pass through infrastructure that may keep standard, short-lived technical logs (such as IP address and request timing) for security and abuse prevention at the hosting/network level. This is normal web infrastructure behavior, separate from this site's own code, and not something this project accesses or uses for tracking individuals.
